  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce

Marinade

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

Preparation

  • Trim excess fat from the chicken breasts and pound to an even thickness using a meat mallet.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt.
  • Coat the chicken breasts with the marinade, place them in a zip-top bag, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.

Grilling

  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 400°F.

  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Serving

  • Slice the chicken and serve with additional BBQ sauce and your choice of sides.

Storage

  • Refrigerate leftover chicken in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

Notes

Pro Tips: For the juiciest chicken, avoid overcooking and let the chicken rest before slicing. Ingredient Substitutions: Use chicken thighs for a juicier alternative, or try different spices for the marinade to suit your taste. How to Serve: Slice the chicken and serve with fresh vegetables or a side salad. Storage & Freshness: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Make-Ahead Tips: Marinate the chicken the night before for maximum flavor infusion.
