Equipment

  • 1 large pot
  • 1 wooden spoon
  • 1 grater for Parmesan cheese

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into strips
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

Preparation

  • Season chicken with salt and pepper. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same pot, add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Pour in heavy cream, bringing to a gentle simmer. Stir continuously to prevent sticking.
  • Add fettuccine to the pot, ensuring it's submerged in the cream. Cook, stirring occasionally, until pasta is al dente.

Serving

  • Return chicken to the pot and stir in Parmesan cheese until sauce thickens. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Storage

  • Transfer leftovers to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stove before serving.
