  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, cubed
  • 12 oz pasta of choice
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown on all sides. Remove from pot and set aside.
  • In the same pot, add pasta, tomato sauce, and water. Stir to combine and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until pasta is al dente, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
  • Return chicken to the pot. Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan cheese on top. Cover and let it cook until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serving

  • Serve hot with a garnish of fresh basil or parsley if desired. Enjoy immediately for best texture and flavor.
