Ingredients
  

Jerk Marinade

  • 2 tbsp allspice berries
  • 4 Scotch bonnet peppers stemmed and seeded
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 1 inch piece of ginger peeled
  • 1 bunch fresh thyme
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

Chicken

  • 2 lbs chicken thighs bone-in, skin-on

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Combine allspice, peppers, garlic, ginger, thyme, soy sauce, lime juice, and brown sugar in a blender. Blend until smooth.
  • Place chicken in a large bowl or zip-top bag. Pour marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is coated. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Cooking

  • Preheat air fryer to 375°F for 5 minutes.
  • Arrange chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Serving

  • Let chicken rest for a few minutes. Serve with traditional sides like rice and peas or fried plantains.
